Smart Republic 2015 combines the outreach of e-GovWorld and Government Transformation Forum events that have been the leading forums for Government practitioners and industry since 2004. The forum Smart Republic has been envisaged to be a platform for helping the stakeholders discuss the roadmap for next generation public services as per the stated intents of Government of India.

 

The revolution in mobile and new media technologies, data analytics including linked geospatial data, Open Government data and citizen engagement tools has opened up unforeseen possibilities for planning new age public services , monitoring and evaluation of government programs, enhancing the reach of Governance and indeed enhancing the impact of investments in making India a Smart Republic.
